SINCE MY FIRST BOX OF NEW crayons whose reds, blues and greens delivered to me the world of color, I have wanted only to be an artist—to look at contrasting shadows, colors in nature and the texture of life around me and try to capture it on canvas. It fills my soul with passion and lets me share my voice with anyone who will listen. The stories that are shared by the physical and the emotional aspects of painting are how I express my feelings about the world. Physical painting from the inside out; This is what drives me to paint.

I first started with pure Watercolor. The greatest challenge of Watercolor is to capture the ever-changing, atmospheric effects of light. Light can transform an ordinary subject into a powerful piece of art. Now I have moved to the mixed media which is so much more forgiving and immediately gratifying.

The Fauve, Post Impressionist and the Abstract Expressionist are among my favorite styles. Regardless, there is not a piece of art that exists which does not move me in some way.
